Bandolero Race Cars

The Bandolero is a contemporary-looking, full-bodied race car that contains a full tubular roll cage to maximize safety. The Bandolero was created for racers of all backgrounds and ages, serving as a stepping stone into to other forms of racing.

Bandolero Racing Divisions:

1. BANDITS: (Drivers between the ages of 8 - 11).
2. YOUNG GUNS: (Drivers between the ages of 12 - 15).
3. OUTLAWS: (Drivers age 16 and older).

Once competitors begin a racing season in one division (age related divisions), they are allowed to compete in that division for one calendar year (January 1-December 31) unless; he or she decides to move up at their own discretion. For example, if a driver is 11 years old when the season begins and has a birthday in July, the driver does not have to progress to the next division until January 1 of the next year. Any mid-season changing of division must be approved by INEX. Any car may be checked for engine, chassis, oil, fuel, tires, wheels, rear ends or sound legality at any time by an INEX official or representative.

The Bandolero primarily attracts younger racers who have raced go-karts or quarter-midgets, and are now looking to another form of racing to further their skills.

The key difference between the Bandolero, go-karts, and quarter-midgets is the full-bodied styling of the car and the sanctioning organization.

Races are sanctioned by INEX (International Sanctioning Organization of Legends Cars and the Bandolero), every participant (driver) is required to become a member of INEX, an authentic sanctioning body that oversees safety requirements for all competitors.

All Bandolero racers abide by a universal set of rules, except for weight, determined by total weight of car and driver.

With a universal set of rules for all participants the number of different racing classes has been reduced, increasing the number of competitors in the Bandolero class.
